Tied in Shadows

As things move forward on Jennidia. Life is also set back. She has noticed her actions are beginning to slow as she feels weakened. She does not know why, but her light is shinning brighter. Brighter then usual. Awaiting on her wedding day, she losses thought as a strange feeling of sadness fills her heart. Speaking to the Arch Oracle of her wedding day she had to rest. Sitting on the step of the alter. Short of breath a panic fills her. Thinking back on the last night that she saw her friend a groan fills her mind. She lets it slip from her as she pushes it back. Asking the Arch Oracle she pleads to move forward with the plans. Making it only 3 days from this night. Not a question was asked, she pushes on. Making plans and working forward through her thoughts.

The Arch Oracle is so pleased with her advancements that he had a set of rings made for her and her betrothed. As she places it on her finger to see if it fits, a dove flutter down handing her a piece of parchment. It was from her long lost friend. Her heart sinks as he tells her that he misses her. She feels horrible that he still is longing for her. She sends him a scroll back explaining that she has been asked to marry. Feeling horrible she goes to the house her and her dearest had made a home. She sits looking into the flames imagining walking among hell with her brother. Knowing that the "Morning Star" will great her with open arms. Shaking her head of the thoughts in her mind, she hears a scratching. Opening the door a dove flutter in looking a bit damaged and dark. She watches it behavior as she takes the parchment from it's clutches. Inside is a small paragraph. Horrid things cross her mind as she hears of her friend changing his course to his uncles.

Fear sticks her heart as he ask for his home to be empty on his return and picking up a knife from his uncle. A heart turning to ash and lost evil to renew. Grabbing her heart she falls to the floor. Passing out from the thoughts and the fear of his safety. Laying there till night she awakes to a friend of her, and her friend that she missed more then ever spoke softly. "M'lady...Jennidia..You.. you must run. He is coming for you. HE IS COMING TO KILL YOU" She quickly stands looking in the empty room wondering were this man went. Grabbing her armor she quickly moves to the door holding her staff firm. Making her way to the tower she stands in the courtyard. Holding firm to her stance watching the skies. As she watches her fae fall from it. A knife is held fast. Pain and hate is in his eyes. She hold her ground and fills with hate and rage. Screaming she lets him know she is not going to back down. He keeps his flight and hovers lightly. Watching her he storms off with a growl, and scream of hate.

Screaming after him to come back and face her she feels herself crying. "WHAT THE HELL" her body is falling apart and she does not know why. Her emotions are flaring and her body is squirming in it's skin. Why is not able to hold herself together. She is so enraged that she locks herself in the dungeon and sits down to think against the cold stone. Her stomach tighten lightly as she hears a familiar voice. Her betrothed is calling to her and asking her to come out. She explains to him that she does not want to hurt her friend. He tells her that she will not have to fear that for he will do it for her. She steps out of the dungeon as he draws his sword watching the skies. They quickly make it to the temple and speak with the Arch Oracle of future plans.

He speaks to her betrothed of future things as she begins to feel dizzy and leans against the alter. Her betrothed noticing he leads her to a seat. Making sure she is well before he continues on. After everything is situated he retired lightly bowing to her with grace. Wishing her safety among the safety of the temple. Tired she passes out in the chair curling up in a tight ball.
